What passes by.

The little things in life we often miss.

When we come across something that we’ve looked at many times and passed by, it’s a lovely surprise to see that same thing in a different light.

A light that makes it look completely new.

It’s refreshing in some ways, and I suppose it’s what keeps life going. If we only saw the same thing everyday life would become stale and boring.

This group of paintings are of everyday things that one minute I have not noticed, but the next time I passed by, whether because of the time of day or season, have looked new again.

So we should open our eyes and look a little more carefully at our environment and appreciate what’s around us. Before it passes by.
