David Welch is a painter whose artistic oeuvre has developed out of many different influences from a practical exploration of his medium, oil paint, and previous prfessional experience as a graphic designer both in Sydney and Paris. His primary focus and inspiration is the Australian landscape but feels compelled to explore other genres because of the need to respond to inspiration, no matter what the source. he live and works in Sydney.
